In case you missed them, here is Episode 1 and Episode 2 of “The Lou.”

St. Louis Catholic’s Journalism class, taught by Monica Core, is a semester-long course open to juniors and seniors who are interested in developing their skills as writers.  The course explores the contemporary media and the ethical responsibility issues inherent in the press today.  Students learn the fundamentals of news, feature, editorial and sports writing, focusing on copy reading, news style and editing.  Students also create numerous original stories using varied structures and writing techniques, along with computer-generated layouts and graphics.  The course is NOT an English credit, nor does it fulfill the Fine Art elective credit for TOPS.
