RESOURCE I-IV

This course is designed to teach Special Education resource students. Students must have a Service Plan approved by the State of Louisiana and Calcasieu Parish Pupil Appraisal. Special Education resource students may earn one elective credit per year for Study Skills.
Credit 1 Grade 9 – 12

TRANSITIONS: (Language Arts, Math Skills, Religion, Science/Social Studies, Vocational Skills, Life Skills, Social Skills)

The Transitions Program is specially designed to teach educational, vocational and life skills to students who are pursuing a Certificate of Completion as an alternative to seeking credits to obtain a high school diploma. Language arts, math, religion, science, and social studies lessons introduce, review, and practice skills in these academic areas. Vocational skills introduce and develop skills necessary for the transition into the work world following high school. Life skills and social skills include lessons to prepare students to live life as independently as possible and to their highest potential.
