St. Louis Catholic senior outfielder/middle infielder Katelyn Courville signed her national letter of intent to play softball for Louisiana College on Friday.

Surrounded by her family and the Saints community, Courville made her college decision official in a ceremony in the Commons.

“I chose Louisiana College because I like the small classes, I like the rigor of the school – how competitive it is – and I like how the softball team is working toward getting better and competing for a NCAA championship in their division,” Courville said. “I like that I’ll be close to my family as well.”

The Lady Saints’ 2019 softball season begins in February.  Senior Madalyn Howard also signed with Louisiana College to play soccer in November.
