Five St. Louis Catholic senior student-athletes who participate in fall sports have received recognition by the LHSAA All-Academic Program as members of the 2019-2020 Composite Team for maintaining a 4.00 unweighted GPA for the previous six semesters.

Seniors Ethan Hebert (cross country), Lucas Manuel (football), Carson Mixon (football), Caroline Obluda (cross country) and Sophie Stine (volleyball) will be honored at the LHSAA state events for their distinguished achievements in the classroom.  To earn Composite Team honors, a student-athlete must have an unweighted 4.00 GPA.  They cannot even have a ‘B’ on their transcripts.

“We are so proud that these outstanding student-athletes are being recognized for their academic achievements,” said St. Louis Catholic Athletic Director Pat Neck.  “They are all outstanding representatives of our school.”

The LHSAA All-Academic Award Program presented by ISC recognizes the academic excellence of senior student-athletes who have attained a 3.5 grade point average or higher by placing them on either the Composite All-Academic Team or Class All-Academic Team.

The Class Team is composed of student-athletes with six-semester GPAs of 3.5-3.999, and St. Louis Catholic has several student-athletes featured on this list as well.   Students on the Class Team will receive a certificate from their schools following the state event of their sport.  St. Louis Catholic’s Class All-Academic Team members are:
